Johnson has starred in some movies like Tooth Fairy, G.I Joe and Fast and Furious series, Gridiron Gang, San Andreas, Central Intelligence and most recently Moana and Baywatch.

Bubba Smith

Charles Aaron ‘Bubba’ Smith was a football player for 9 years in the National Football League. This tall and sturdy player already had a stable acting profession and performed in many TV projects and movies including Blue Thunder, Good Times, Open All Night and six Police Academy movies. The thespian passed away at the age of 66 in 2011.

Carl Weathers

Post playing for 2 seasons with Oakland Raiders and B.C Lions; Weathers arrived at Hollywood to chase his love for acting. The former football player was seen as a regular in the industry post his ball superannuation, but his ensuing parts in four Rocky movies, Predator, Tour of Duty, Brothers, In the Heat of the Night and Street Justice hardened his resume as a thespian. Carl still unceasingly works as a thespian.

Fred Williamson

Before shifting careers, Williamson played 8 seasons in the NFL. He played for 3 teams (Oakland Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs) before exiting the football arena. Lawrence Taylor

This former New York Giants member played for the team for 13 seasons before entering the entertainment industry. 1998 marked the beginning of his acting career. Taylor has appeared in some projects like Waterboy, Any Given Sunday, LR: The Life and Times and When in Rome. The ball player-turned actor was also inaugurated into the hall of fame in the year, 1999.

Merlin Olsen

This 15-season NFL trouper competed with the Los Angeles Rams. Merlin acted in many assignments post his ball-retirement, which included The Undefeated, Father Murphy, Mitchell and most remarkably, Little House on the Prairie. The actor is also a Hall-Of-Famer (1982). He passed away at the age of 69 in 2010.

Rosey Grier

Roosevelt ‘Rosey’ Grier was an athlete for 11 seasons in the NFL. First, he played with New York Giants and then Los Angeles Rams. Post that, he starred in a number of TV and movie assignments like Movin’ On, The Thing with Two Heads, Make room for Granddaddy, Carter’s Army and Daniel Boone.
